CFA For Flowers

India has very old and long tradition of flower cultivation. We store flowers at low atmosphere pressure under refrigerated conditions, with continuous ventilation to keep it fresh and durable for long time.

The demand for freshly cut flowers has made the development of improved methods of preservation necessary. Among various dynamics to consider when storing cut flowers, temperature regulation is a particularly critical factor. For most flower types, optimal storage temperatures range between 33°F - 37°F by deciding the best temperature to store the cut flowers.

Attaining the best temperature for cut flowers can be satisfactorily done with the use of environmental chillers and water-cooling systems. These devices can be used to regulate the temperatures at which cut florets are stored and transported ensuring longer shelf lives.
