The need for better techniques of preservation has arisen as a result of the increased demand for freshly cut flowers. In addition to other aspects to keep in mind when maintaining cut flowers, temperature control is a crucial element.
Heat can shorten the lifespan of cut plants by causing early ageing and promoting plant rot. Moreover, higher temperatures will speed up plant respiration, producing ethylene gas and generating even more heat. These incidents collectively cause storage flowers to age more quickly.
We have designed our warehouses in a temperature controlled manner to keep the flowers fresh for long duration with special temperature zones.
